2025 Aerozone Alliance Annual Report

The Challenge

The Aerozone Alliance’s 2025 Annual Report needed to clearly articulate a forward-looking strategy, align a diverse group of stakeholders, and position the organization as a credible convener for aerospace, aviation, and advanced manufacturing growth in Northeast Ohio.

With a newly defined strategic plan, an ambitious 1,000 Jobs Initiative, and increased visibility at the regional and national level, the report functions as both a reflection and a launchpad.

The challenge was balancing complexity with clarity, and vision with accountability.

The Approach

Vaux led the project from concept through execution, serving as strategic partner, lead writer, designer, and project manager for the report.

Recognizing the annual report should not serve as simply a static document, we approached it as a flagship communications asset, designed to support multiple audiences and use cases across the coming year.

Key areas of focus included:

Strategic Narrative Development

We worked closely with Aerozone leadership to shape a cohesive story that connected past accomplishments to future priorities. This included translating strategic planning language into a clear, compelling narrative that could be understood by board members, funders, partners, and prospective businesses.

Content Writing and Editorial Direction

Vaux wrote a substantive quantity of the report content, while also editing and integrating contributed material to ensure consistency of tone, clarity, and voice throughout. Particular care was taken to preserve leadership voice while maintaining readability across technical and non-technical audiences.

Design and Visual System

We designed the full 32-page booklet, establishing a strong visual hierarchy that allowed dense information to feel accessible and intentional. Large-scale photography was used to create pacing and emphasis, while layout and typography reinforced the report’s forward-looking tone.

Audience-Specific Messaging and CTAs

The report was structured to speak to multiple audiences, including business leaders, community partners, and funders. Calls to action were strategically placed and differentiated to guide readers toward meaningful next steps without disrupting narrative flow.

Project Management and Coordination

Vaux managed production timelines, facilitated a planning meeting, coordinated stakeholder input, and guided the project through several rounds of revisions. Our role included keeping momentum high, decisions focused, and the final product aligned with strategic goals.
